When the Englewood Apartment had explosion, I saw the news where people said, “I cannot think of Christmas. I don’t care!” I deeply sorry for their situation. Shirely Law, our church member is one of the residents. I made 15 gift bags and brought it to the hotel where they stay. I brought my violin and played some Christmas carols and hymns.
Some residents stop by at the lobby and they called to their friends to come down, saying, “Here is a gentleman who gives out gifts and plays violin!” Shirely introduced me as her pastor. I hope that they should have some taste of joy of Christmas!
When I survived a car accident, I wanted my life to be useful in some ways. I pray that this small act of kindness should be one of the ways to be used by God!
