“We are praying for you!” is the words that cheer us up. We took a family picture in front of those prayers that our church members sent to me through Susie’s husband, Aaron. I also put all those cards aroud the banner.
I have focused on the ministry of presence. I visited people and prayed with them. When I was in surgery and ICU bed, I realized that I should change my primary mode of ministry. I started praying for my church and for our communities. I also felt the power of prayer of our church members and other friends.
Now, I realize that prayer ministry is not just a substitute of ministry of presence. Nobody believes that I had a surgery and came home that quickly to have a Thanksgiving at home! I emphasized all the time that it was the power of prayer. During this time when I cannot visit people, I will pray for them. God will be with them as God has been with me. I just need to be a clean and empty pipe line for the blessings of God can be delivered directly to people from the unlimited power and love of God.
