Sunday, August 9 Central will be joining Holy Cross and St. Paul’s at 10.00am for a cooperative parish worship service at Shumway Oak Grove Park (Eight Mile Road). Following the outdoor worship service a potluck lunch will be served. Everyone is invited to bring their favorite summer picnic dish. Remember to bring a serving spoon. Bring an outdoor chair and/or a blanket to sit on. It is hoped that people will bring their favorite outdoor games, board games or cards for people to play. If you have a fishing license, there are fish in the lake, in addition there are walking trails throughout the park. It should be a day of worship and fun.
